Historic Moto Gran Prix (HMGP) is an organization dedicated to the enjoyment of historic motorcycles for discriminating collectors, riders and fans.  Our members enjoy not only displaying, but also riding and competing in gentleman’s racing at our events.  Participants and enthusiasts represent a vast range of industries and influence. Major corporate sponsors such as YAMAHA and others are utilizing HMGP in their marketing programs.

HMGP events are often run in conjunction with HSR (Historic Sportscar Racing), which is the vintage sportscar racing equivalent. Joint HSR and HMGP events attract over 300 entrants and up to 40,000 spectators each weekend!  As a virtual time machine of sights and sounds, Historic Moto Gran Prix recaptures an era of motorcycle racing not to be forgotten.

At HMGP, the bikes are the stars and you can be too.  All brands and models are invited, so come and ride with us at our next event, or enter your historic or vintage bike in our bike show competition.  HMGP events represent fast-paced, wheel to wheel racing.  Competition is strictly gentleman’s racing though, and bikes are grouped according to era and displacement to maximize the fun and competition.
